Safety.

At BoatPics safety is our number one priority, for you, your boat and anyone else in the area, on land, on the water and in the air.

We are CAA aproved PFCO holders, fully experienced, fully insured

all site surveys and risk assessments are done before any flight takes place so you can be sure your in safe hands

All of our aircraft fleet use the latest collision avoidance technology and we also use zoom lens so we don't need to get too close to your boat

For everyone's safety and to avoid damage, aircraft flight day is weather dependant and also dependent on any temporary flight restriction zones issued by NATS and could be subject to change at short notice, but we always aim to let you know 24hrs before the planned flight time. We listen to vhf channel 16 during flight for any coastguard operations, if we are flying in an area where we can assist the coast guard with air support then that will take priority.

All flights will be temporarily suspended with no notice in the event of a safety operation taking place in the area such as police, air ambulance or coastguard helicopters operating in the area for search and rescue etc. Safety is always at the forefront of every operation, the pilot is responsible for the safety of every flight and will only fly if he deems it safe to do so and once all site checks, risk assessments and mitigation's are complete, insurance is in place and all pre flight and takeoff checks are complete.
